the installation consists of over 40 video clips and photos sent through different social media apps to recipients that remain anonymous to the viewer. Some display short messages, AR filters, and animations, offering only one side of a conversation, gradually constructing a virtual image of unknown recipients. actual data explores distinctions between digital and
analog communication and the actualization of digital data while portraying a reclamation of female sexuality. Referencing
Sandy Stones's “Split Subjects, Not Atoms”, actual data represents a visual form of data compression, investigating the
actualization of private data (person-to-person sharing) into the physical space, robbing it of its ephemerality.  The piece
deals with the ethics of data handling and investigates the differentiation between “real” “actual” and “virtual”
