all watched over by machines
is a rework of Richard Brautigans poem “all watched over by machines of loving grace” from 1967. The piece is a dystopic reinterpretation
of Brautigans work. By turning the tech utopia that Brautigan depicted in his work into a space where neither technology nor nature flourishes
the piece examines how the perception, hopes, and expectations of the internet in its early stages gradually shifted.
