OUTPUT LAYER
Investigating the desubjectivation inherent in our digital era, this piece explores the ways hyper-capitalism reclaims the individual as a site for data extraction. Through a complex visual network, the work maps 21st-century entanglements between internet culture, capitalist economies, the art market, and the economies of desire and surveillance. The physical installation is mirrored and deconstructed in video pieces depicting 3D scans of the space, while a two-way mirror creates a layer of semi-transparency—veiling information to provoke a more intimate, investigative gaze.
